Work and Play

Well here's a thing . . .
I've enjoyed playing games of diverse sorts in my life. I've got a bit of a childish (or is that childlike?) interest in toys and puzzles etc and now...
here I am working in a toyshop! - Result!

A colleague recently lent me a game to play. I took it home and it sat around for a while until one evening my son Stefan arrived home from a charity hitchhike to Morrocco and it seemed like a good moment to try out the game - Killer Bunnies. We had a blast! It was great fun and a really good laugh. The trick of the game is to keep your bunnies alive and "inthe circle" while wiping out opponents with weapons ranging from a whisk to a nuclear srike. There are several clever twists to the game which is based on decks of cards. For example when you choose a card to play from your hand you choose for next turn ... this turn you play the card you chose last turn. You have to plan ahead. Also some weapons eg diseases, spread around the circle of bunnies and if you target a bunny which is too close you may end up killing off your own furry friends.

I think the game may become a little predictable after a few games but there are lots of booster packs to freshen it up with crazy new ideas.
